Making Art with Children
During my time as an art instructor at Camp Moon River, I worked with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, leading a variety of engaging art sessions that included crafts, mixed media, drawing, and creative games. I designed lessons that balanced structure with freedom, encouraging children to express themselves without fear of mistakes. My approach emphasized creativity, confidence, and curiosity. With a strong foundation in classroom management and child development, I created a welcoming environment where every idea was valued. The positive feedback I received from both campers and staff reflected the impact of my teaching on students’ enthusiasm and artistic growth.
